Captain fantastic?

A truely awful season from Mark Noble (c), and serious questions need to be asked from our new manager about his ability to lead our team.
Whilst you all know what I think of him, you all surely can admit that this is a worrying season for him seeing as his best years are now surely behind him.
What else can he give? Did he have anything to give in the 1st place? Does he still deserve a guaranteed starting place in our team?...
Most importantly is he influential enough and indeed good enough to be our captain? ?
I obviously think not.

It does make me chuckle rather that we have fans like Honest Hammer that have no idea who the manager is going to be but thinks he knows who he'll play.

Unless we're going to buy a whole new midfield I think whoever comes in will still play him regularly, like our last 4 or 5 managers have.

Mark Noble isn't captain, he isn't captain material and in all honesty - I think under a new manager he may not make the first 11.

he's mostly shit and very rarely has a good game.
If he was some lad from Ghana he would have been slaughtered by everyone on here.
If we are to progress he should be on the bench for most games.

The team needs an overhaul Nolan can fuck off but there is no leader in the squad. The inept Noble has a 5 year contract and his rimmers will be crying out that he gets the armband. But if that's the standard we are setting then don't moan about how mediocre the side is and our league position if that's the benchmark.

We collapsed to a draw because our cunt of a manager replaced Noble with the cunt Cole, effectively giving Tottenham the midfield. Why am I even bothering talking to you?

fordstar's obviously got some kind of mental problem regarding Noble.
The other OTT critics have difficulty with the idea that a player can be neither great nor shit, but merely good.
Which is exactly what Noble is.

We've seen it all before haven't we? This manager wouldn't pick him, that manager wouldn't pick him. Fordstar's famous declaration BFS wouldn't play him etc etc
We've seen the prediction of the end for Noble when we signed Song, Kouyate, even Poyet.
The new manager will no doubt pick players on their form and for the vast majority of his West Ham career, that's what Noble has been picked on and showed in the correct midfield like in the first half of this season what a good player he is.
OPTA called it over the season
Kouyate 7.19
Noble 7.04
Downing 7.00
Song 6.97
Basically 7's across the board and that midfield in the correct formation was excellent and Noble was no worse than the others.

Noble looked much better in the first half of the season when he didn't have Nolan alongside him.
